Welcome to the Kilbirnie Festival 2012
EARLYBIRD STALL PRICES UNTIL 24 FEB!
In 2012, the Kilbirnie Festival will be held on Sunday 11 March,
in Bay Road and surrounding carparks, between 10am - 4pm.
This is the 17th consecutive fair day, for the eastern suburbs' biggest event and one of Wellington’s
biggest festivals. Kilbirnie Festival presents 200 craft & food
stalls, kids’ rides, kids activities and entertainment, and music on three stages including top Wellington indy acts on the Acoustic Lounge Stage, an exciting Youth Stage, and our Community Stage for locals and family entertainment, which between them offer
a broad range of music, entertainment and performances.
We will list all the performers on this website as the information is confirmed.
The Community Centre offers a quite oasis of Devonshire teas amid the busy hubbub of the fair day!
A feature this
year is the “Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars!” competition for primary
school kids. This raises funds for local primary schools, while providing great entertainment.
There will be two bus trips for the elderly in the week prior. Contact the Community Centre for details and tickets.
Watch out for details of more local events!
Fair Day cancellations on 384-1998 from 7am on the day.
